About us
Bergkroon Faith Centre is situated 5 kilometres from Wellington, in the Western Cape, on the Bain’s Kloof Pass Road. This unique site offers panoramic views of the Paarl and Wellington valleys and is surrounded by a large variety of fynbos, with the towering Hawekwa Mountains as a backdrop. It is a place of absolute peace, where visitors will experience a renewed awareness and appreciation of God’s creation.
The Centre consists of two separate camping sites in the midst of vast lawns and wide open spaces. It features neat, well maintained sleeping quarters and ablution facilities, a sparkling swimming pool and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a most attractive venue for school camps and church groups. Self-catering as well as all-inclusive packages are available according to preferences.
In addition, a third site features more upmarket facilities — including a fully equipped boardroom for smaller groups and cosy guest accommodation for a more private retreat experience.
Facilities
A separate site offers a more upmarket boardroom for smaller groups and guest accommodation.
Suited for individuals or groups up to 12 boardroom layout, or 24 classroom layout. The small kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, urn, cutlery and crockery. Bathroom facilities included. Equipped with air-conditioning, a TV for presentations, as well as braai facilities. Please enquire about any specific needs you may have.
Two bedrooms, sleeping 4 person in total (one double bed or two single beds). Open-plan kitchen and living area. One bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, kettle & toaster, Nespresso machine, cutlery and crockery. Bedding and towels are provided. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning. Includes braai facilities and a smart TV in the living area.
The two camping sites at Bergkroon have their own separate amenities.
This facility features 13 Chalets, each sleeping 6 – 8 persons – a total of 87 beds along with newly build Joy with 68 beds which include two leaders rooms. The Auditorium seats 1 000 persons, and the additional Hall another 10 – 120. The air-conditioned Board-room can accommodate 30 – 40 persons and is equipped with a TV. The Dining Hall seats 100 – 120 persons.
This facility features 4 Houses, each sleeping 26 persons, while 2 separate Leaders’ Rooms are available — sleeping accommodation for 104 in total with the Hall seating 120 – 150 persons. The Dining Hall seats 80 persons and has a fully equipped kitchen.
If both camping sites are booked, a minimum cost in respect of 175 persons applies.
If Camp Grace, Joy or Blessing is booked, visitors are required to bring: Own bedding, cutlery, crockery, dish-washing liquid, dish-cloths, toiletries, toilet paper, black bags, wood for camp fires, etc.

Per hour: R550/h
Half day: R1650
Full day: R3300
GUEST ACCOMMODATION
R550 per person per night.
GROUP CAMPING SITES
WEEKENDS:
For the weekend (Friday and Saturday night)
Less than 175 persons: R595 per person
More than 175 persons: R565 per person
A minimum of 175 people will be charged should the full premises be booked.
WEEKDAYS:
Per night (Monday – Thursday night): R150 per person per night.
GENERAL COSTS:
Day visitor fee: R105 per person per day
Bergkroon catering: R495 per person
(Approx. & subject to change, 5 meals included)
Kitchen fee (For self-catering, for duration of camp): R85 per person.
